I have been trying to break out of my "neutral shell" lately and experiment with color. So far, so good! The more color I incorporate, the more color I crave. Last weekend I picked up a bright pink blazer at H&M (I will post pictures soon) and I am in love with it. I've wanted a pink blazer for a while but the ones I tried on were too short for me (I'm kind of a giant). This one is long and it was only $24.95. Yaya! I also adore everything in the list above. I especially love the Pop Phone, so fun! I challenge everyone to go crazy and have some fun with color!

Tomorrow afternoon I will be visiting with a foot doctor to discuss seven years of pain I have been experiencing in my toes. Glamorous, I know. I am just dreading the moment when he asks me, "So Amanda, how long have you been experiencing this pain?" because I am mortified that I have put it off for so long. Especially as someone who is going to be joining the medical field. Oops! Oh well! I think I already know what is causing the pain, I am just praying I am able to avoid surgery. Feel free to send me lots of happy thoughts, I could use a few! :)

oscar worthy weekend

Another weekend has come and gone. This weekend had no shortage of relaxation and fun. My boyfriend (the cutie in the picture above) and I went on a successful shopping trip, had a delicious brunch, enjoyed some fun drinks (wine in a can, anyone?), did some early spring cleaning, and of course watched the Oscars. The weather this weekend was absolutely beautiful! I do feel bad about not getting outside and enjoying it more than I did, but I live in the desert, so there will be many more days of sunshine. :) I hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as I did! I feel refreshed and ready to take on another week.

Happy Friday and welcome to Exes and Ohs! This is simply a place where I hope to share some of the things that inspire me, make me smile, and give me warm fuzzy feelings inside. Since it's Friday I decided to add a little sparkle to my blog. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been obsessed with gold lately. Whether I'm wearing it, decorating with it ... dreaming about it. Whatever. I love it. My mom has a hard time understanding my new found love for gold because she was around during a time when gold did terrible things to people's wardrobes and homes. I've tried explaining to her that gold is being used in healthy ways now, but I'm not sure she is completely convinced. :) Above is a little list of some of the golden treasures I have my eye on.
